We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with strong frontend and backend expertise to build and scale our CRM campaigns. This role will be responsible for creating campaigns end-to-end in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, from technical setup and journey architecture to email development and campaign deployment. Need to play a key role in implementing and improving lifecycle marketing journeys such as welcome programs, re-engagement campaigns, and lead generation enhancements, ensuring campaigns are scalable, personalized, and aligned with CRM strategy.
Duties to be performed
CRM Campaign Development
Build end-to-end CRM campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Translate marketing requirements into scalable technical implementations.
Configure and deploy campaigns including emails, journeys, audience segmentation, and automation.
Lifecycle Journey Implementation
Design and develop lifecycle journeys such as:
Welcome and onboarding programs
Re-engagement and retention campaigns
Lead generation and lead nurturing journeys
Optimize journey performance through segmentation, testing, and personalization.
Frontend Email Development
Develop responsive, modular email templates using HTML and CSS.
Build reusable components aligned with the team’s email design system.
Ensure cross-client compatibility and performance across major email platforms.
Backend SFMC Development
Implement backend campaign logic using AMP script, SSJS, and SQL.
Build and maintain data extensions, automations, and segmentation queries.
Integrate campaign logic with CRM data models and lifecycle frameworks.
Troubleshoot and optimize campaign performance and data flows.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with marketing stakeholders, designers, and the SFMC Tech Lead.
Support campaign launches and ensures technical quality across deployments.
Document campaign implementations and technical approaches for reuse.
Required Skills & Experience
4–6+ years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Strong experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
Proficiency in AMP script, SQL, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
Strong HTML/CSS skills for responsive email development.
Experience building CRM lifecycle campaigns from scratch.
Solid understanding of data models, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
Ability to translate marketing strategy into technical campaign architecture.
Nice to Have
Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP / Interaction Studio).
Familiarity with email design systems or modular template frameworks.
Experience integrating SFMC with external CRM/CDP platforms.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications.
